Terms &Conditions

1. Enrollment & Payment

• A $300 non-refundable deposit (tax included) is required to begin the Driver's Education Program.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full before scheduling any in-car lessons, unless otherwise agreed.
• Enrollment is only confirmed once payment is received and the enrollment form is completed.

2. Online Training (Non-Refundable)

• The online portion of the course is provided through a third-party platform (TrubiCars).
• Once access to the online training is granted, this portion is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Once access is granted, the fee is considered used regardless of actual usage.
• By enrolling, the student acknowledges and agrees to this condition.

3. Course Completion Timeline

• Students have up to 1 year from the date of enrollment to complete BOTH the online training and in-car lessons.
• No refunds will be provided if the course is not completed within this timeframe.
• Failure to complete within 1 year will require full re-enrollment and full payment.

4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy (In-Car Lessons)

• A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule any in-car lesson.
• Late cancellations or no-shows will result in loss of the full scheduled lesson time.
• Missed lesson time must be repaid at the regular rate of $65/hour (tax included) in order to meet program requirements and receive certification.
• Repeated last-minute changes may result in refusal of further bookings.

5. Pickup & Drop-off

• Pickup and drop-off are offered as a complimentary service when feasible but are not guaranteed.
• Students may be required to meet at a designated training location.
• A travel fee may apply for locations beyond 15 km from Lower Sackville.
• Travel fees are calculated based on time and distance to and from the student's location.

6. Road Test Vehicle Usage

• Use of the instructor's vehicle for the road test is included for the first attempt within HRM only (Halifax, Dartmouth, and Sackville), subject to availability and instructor approval.
• The instructor reserves the right to refuse use of the vehicle if the student is not test-ready or is driving unsafely.
• No refunds will be provided in such cases.
• Road tests outside HRM will be subject to full applicable fees and travel charges, with no discounts applied.

7. Safety & Conduct

• Students must follow all instructions provided by the instructor.
• The instructor reserves the right to terminate any lesson immediately in cases of unsafe, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior.
• No refund or compensation will be provided for terminated lessons due to safety concerns.

8. Valid License Requirement

• Students must carry a valid physical driver's license or learner's permit for all lessons.
• Photos or digital copies are not accepted.
• Students presenting a temporary (paper) license must also provide valid photo identification for verification.
• Failure to present valid documentation will result in lesson cancellation with full charge.

9. Refund Policy

• The $300 deposit (tax included) is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
• This amount covers online training access, platform enrollment, and administrative costs.

For any cancellations:

• The $300 (tax included) will be deducted and retained.
• Any completed in-car lessons will be charged at the regular rate of $65/hour (tax included), regardless of package pricing.
• The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded within 48–72 hours.

• Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
• Any third-party or transaction fees may be deducted from the refundable amount where applicable.

• No refunds will be provided after 1 year from the date of enrollment.
• Students who do not complete the program within 1 year must re-enroll and pay the full program fee again.

10. Agreement

By enrolling in the Driver's Education Program, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions outlined above, including the registration waiver.
